The fitting is molded to be strong, and will last for years of permanent installation in your maple sugar woods. The inside diameter of the Leader 5/16 plastic tees are the largest in the maple sugaring industry to reduce restrictions and the chance of plugging fittings with ice or bacteria. To ease installation of these tees, we recommend that a tubing tool be used.
